SPA2 D | Green | UV is a family of diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) laser marking systems for high-contrast, permanent codes on plastics, delicate substrates and selected coated surfaces. The choice of 1064 nm, 532 nm Green or 355 nm UV technology enables the marking process to be matched to the material, required code and line conditions.
For dates, batch numbers, serialisation, 1D and 2D codes, logos and graphics, SPA2 D Duo delivers precise laser marking in automated lines or a workstation environment.
Short-pulse laser technology helps minimise the thermal impact on the substrate while maintaining code definition and contrast. It is a strong choice where pack appearance and code readability are both critical.
Colour, additives, texture, coatings and line speed all affect the marking result. We assess your actual samples to define the most suitable wavelength, power, optics and marking settings.
The SPA2 D configuration is designed for high-quality marking on delicate substrates and selected surface-coating ablation applications.
SPA2 Green uses 532 nm laser light and short, high-peak-power pulses to achieve marks on plastics with minimal thermal impact.
SPA2 UV uses 355 nm laser light for thermoformed and specialist plastics where a tightly controlled interaction with the surface is required.
Dual-processor technology dedicates one processor to variable data and another to laser control. This supports fast marking of changing production data without sacrificing code quality.
3D marking maps text, codes and graphics across cylindrical, spherical, conical or irregular surfaces. It can reduce the need for mechanical rotation or complex handling while helping maintain a consistent mark.
The compact laser head can integrate into automated production lines or compatible iLaserBox workstations. TCP/IP connectivity and configurable I/O simplify integration with line controls and handling equipment.
Marca software supports variable text, dates, batch data, 1D and 2D codes, graphics and logos. Operators can work from the touch controller, a handheld unit or a PC according to the installation.
Tell us about your substrate, code content, required contrast and line speed. We will recommend the appropriate wavelength, configuration and test approach for your application.
