MLA 5030 SP & PR

MLA 5030 SP & PR is a rotary arm label applicator for automatically applying labels to the front or side of products, packaging and cartons. Its rotating arm adapts the application position to the product orientation and required label face, helping manufacturers integrate labelling directly into automated production lines.

The system can also be configured to apply two labels across adjacent product faces. This makes it suitable for applications where front-and-side identification, logistics information or traceability labels need to remain visible from more than one direction.

Adapt the label position to the product orientation

The rotary arm moves the label applicator to the required front or side position. This gives production teams more flexibility where product orientation, conveyor direction or the required label face changes between applications.

The final configuration is selected around the product geometry, label format, application position and line layout.

Apply labels across adjacent faces

A version is available for applications that require two labels on adjacent product faces. This can support cartons, packs and cases that need identification on both front and side surfaces.

SP for pre-printed labels

The SP version is designed for automated application of pre-printed labels. It is suitable where the required label content is already produced before the product reaches the labelling point.

PR for variable-data print and apply

The PR version can be configured with a thermal-transfer printer to create labels as they are needed. This allows variable information to be printed in line for changing products, batches, orders or dispatch requirements.

MLA 5030 SP & PR can operate at rates of up to 20 products per minute, depending on the label size, product spacing, application position and line conditions.

Label formats up to 120 × 300mm

The system supports label sizes from 10 × 15 mm up to 120 × 300 mm. The final label format should be selected according to the product, required content and selected applicator configuration.

Synchronisation with production speed

An encoder can synchronise the applicator with changing conveyor speeds. This helps coordinate label application with product movement on automated lines.
