BiDiLase laser coding is an ultra-high-speed solution for brands that need to apply a unique QR code to every pack. It combines high-speed laser coding with serialisation software to support smart packaging, product traceability and direct digital engagement throughout the product journey.
Designed for demanding packaging environments, BiDiLase can create unique QR codes, Data Matrix codes and product identifiers at production-line speed. Each marked code can connect the physical pack with digital information, helping brands improve traceability, protect product authenticity and create new consumer touchpoints.
BiDiLase can code at speeds of up to 1,000 m/min and generate more than 100 unique QR codes per second. This makes it suitable for high-throughput packaging lines where every unit requires an individual, serialised code.
The system creates high-definition laser codes with the precision needed for compact, readable QR codes. This supports reliable scanning across the supply chain and at the point of purchase, subject to validation on the selected packaging material and line conditions.
Assign a unique code to each product unit and connect production, distribution, retail and consumer data. BiDiLase supports traceability strategies where manufacturers need better visibility of product movement and code history.
A unique QR code can take consumers to product information, promotions, brand content, loyalty initiatives or recycling guidance. This helps transform packaging into a measurable communication channel while keeping each interaction linked to an individual product.
BiDiLase integrates with Integra Serialization to generate and manage unique codes at high speed. The combined solution helps automate serialisation workflows and supports code verification requirements in selected applications.
Its integrable printhead and fibre-optic umbilical design help adapt BiDiLase to existing packaging lines. The final configuration should be defined around the pack material, available installation space, code size and required throughput.
Unlike ink-based coding systems, BiDiLase does not require ink or ribbon consumables for the coding process. This can reduce routine consumable handling and packaging-line interruptions.
The appropriate extraction, safety measures and process settings should always be selected for the packaging material and application. This gives a more credible claim than stating that laser coding produces no emissions in every circumstance.
